Sensory Identification Method: This method requires no items or instruments; it relies on intuition and long-term experience to identify the quality of the fabric based on its feel and texture. Rabbit hair fibers are generally 30-50 mm long. More rabbit hair fibers indicate a higher proportion of rabbit hair, suggesting a higher-end product. Wool sweaters and acrylic sweaters (commonly known as fake wool sweaters) can be difficult to distinguish due to the unique wool-like characteristics of acrylic fibers. However, careful observation and comparison reveal differences. Visually, wool products are softer, more elastic, denser, and have a softer color.

Burning Method: Wool products burn while emitting smoke and bubbles, accompanied by a burning hair odor. The ash is plentiful and consists of shiny, black, brittle lumps. Acrylic products burn slowly while melting, with a bright, powerful white flame, producing slight black smoke and a fishy odor. The ash is white, spherical, brittle, and easily broken. Nylon products melt and burn slowly, producing a little white smoke, a small, blue flame with a celery aroma, and forming a light brown, hard lump that is not easily crushed.
