Rabbit hair fibers are pure white, lustrous, soft, smooth, and possess excellent warmth retention. The fiber fineness is mostly between 10 and 15 micrometers, with tightly packed scales, no crimp, and a fluffy texture. It is not suitable for pure spinning and is generally blended with wool, nylon, or acrylic fibers.
Acrylic fibers possess unique and excellent properties very similar to wool. They are soft to the touch, fluffy, elastic, have good dyeing properties, produce vibrant colors, and offer strong warmth retention.
Generally, wool is blended with acrylic, viscose, and other chemical or synthetic fibers in a certain proportion to combine the advantages of both and reduce costs. In practical applications, wool is often blended with polyester, cotton, viscose, and nylon. Common blend ratios include 70% wool and 30% polyester, and 50% wool and 50% polyester.
